.. and an artist is?
An individual who creates art is known as an Artist. An artist is usually referred to an individual who paints, or illustrates from a pose of an important person: this is because there are museums with a lot of this type of art in them. Many paintings can be beautiful, and can help people realise things (for example, a person in a cage with a key in it, may be a symbol that there is always help). Artists create art either for themselves, or for others. If it is for themselves, then they most usually create art as the item they are creating from is dear to them. If it is for somebody else, than that is usually because it has been requested as a favour, dare, or simply for money.
