Is another contemporary art museum really needed?
This is the new public debate. England already holds a large number of contemporary art museums such as the Tate Modern and the Serpentine Gallery’s both situated in London, but do we really need another one?
Birmingham thinks so ……………… earlier last month plans were drawn up for a major new gallery to be situated in Birmingham.
The first public event was held last month to discuss the idea and another will follow soon.
As an art lover myself, I am all for these new plans – its another day out and a chance to see the new generation of artists/designers. What do you think?
