Kertesz retrospective set to close at Jeu de Paume

If there’s one exhibition that I’m particularly upset to be missing out on it’s the Andre Kertesz exhibit currently taking place in Paris. The Jeu de Paume has had a retrospective of the Hungarian photographer’s work on display since September last year, but unfortunately I’ve not been able to make the trip to see it.

The exhibition ends early next month and is set to pass me by completely. This is a real shame because Kertesz’s photographs were so influential on so many 20th century photographers. What makes it all the more disappointing is the fact that the collection was curated by Michel Frizot – one of the most respected eminent experts in the photography community.
