Tate Moderns How It Is
This month the Tate Gallery has been welcomed with Polands Miroslaw Balka’s Heart of Darkness.
The sculpture is over 13 metres high and 10 metres wide. It is a giant darkness filled box shape which can be entered via a ramp or can be walked underneath.
The piece was placed on show on the 13th October, but don’t worry it will be left alone till April 2010 when it will be replaced with the next artwork.
Balka’s other works include a set of corridors that visitors can also walk through and experience.
