The National History Museum
On the 15th September 2009 The National History Museum opens its new expansion to the public. It is the newest and largest expansion since the museum moved in 1881. The Darwin Centre is a new public space to explore new world class science in action. Within this new giant cocoon like, 8 storey high, structure holds scientists at work, incredible specimens and exciting displays.
The Darwin Centre holds many attractions such as the Attenborough Studio, Angela Marmont centre, all about science and not forgetting the cocoon experience.
Entrance is free, open 10:00 till 17:50 daily
